The TFOA project - Fault Tolerant Automatic UAS Operation project, financed by the Spanish Ministry of Industry inside the Avanza I+D program intends to enhance the automatic operation of UAS. Unmanned Solutions participates in the project providing flight platforms to test the equipment developed.

A preliminary flight to calibrate the Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) developed by "Grupo de Microondas y Radar" UPM took place in the aerodrome of Marugán. On succesive flights, the radar images will be used in the visual landing assistance system that is being developed within the project.
