USol and UATec participate in the "Jornadas de Presentación de Empresas" organized by the Spanish Army in Madrid

Unmanned Solutions and its services subsidiary, UATec, explained their future development plans to representatives of the Army, the Air Force, the Navy, the police and the Guardia Civil (National Guard) and afterwards, in the outdoors exhibition, presented their latest K2B platform with its ground station, as wel as the new high-performance low-maintenance powerplant.
Unmanned Solutions and Unmanned Aircraft Technologies were present in the "V Jornadas de Presentación de Empresas" (Company Presentation Conference) organized by the Spanish Army in the PCAMI ("Parque y Centro de Abastecimiento de Material de Intendencia", Park and Center for Supplies and Quartermaster Material), located in the outskirts of Madrid. The Conference gives the opportunity to selected representatives of all the armed forces in Spain to keep in touch with the latest offerings related to security and defense.
The event was the first public presentation of Unmanned Solutions' K2B line, which constitutes a major landmark for Unmanned Solutions in terms of usability and flexibility. Recently, the Andalusian research center, FADA-CATEC, chose the K2B UAV as their unmanned platform in the tactical category for research purposes in their future ATLAS center. Unmanned Solutions, through its services subsidary UATec, was awarded a public tender for the supply of two K2B6 platforms. This tender constitutes the first of its kind in Spain.
Unmanned Solutions has been working lately in the developmento of defense and security related applications based of their UAV platforms. The Army's Company Presentation Conference constitute an excellent opportunity to receive direct feedback from potential end-users of their systems in these applications. Among them it stands out the project to modify their platforms as needed for naval applications. Modifications planned include launch and recover systems, marinization of the platform, integration with naval control systems and transformations of the powerplant to employ JP5 fuel.
