Unmanned Solutions participates in the inauguration of FADA-CATEC

Seville, January 20-21, 2011

Unmanned Solutions attended the inauguration ceremony of CATEC (Centro Avanzado de Tecnología Aeroespacial) that took place in Seville on January 20 and organized a demostration session the following day.

Unmanned Solutions in CATEC

FADA-CATEC recently chose the K2B UAV as their unmanned platform in the fixed wing tactical category for research purposes. Unmanned Solutions, through its services subsidary UATec, was awarded a public tender for the supply of two K2B6 platforms. These units will be delivered during the spring of 2011. For that reason, UATec provided CATEC with one unit of a similar platform to be showcased in their UAV exhibition during the ceremony.

The CATEC research center has the intention of becoming a reference in the aerospace sector in Spain. It focuses in five reasearch aeras, one of which is  unmanned aerial vehicles. For that purpose, it has equipped itself with a representative sample of UAVs, including the two platforms engineered by Unmanned Solutions.

The following day, Unmanned Solutions organized a demostration session to interested parties comprising a conference held in Aeropolis (an aerospace industry development near the Seville International Airport where CATEC is located) and an outdoor exhibition in a nearby aerodrome.
